No Mercy

Witnessing acts of genocide, a grave risk witnessed in their brutal attacks.

Humanity it lacks, using dehumanising words to justify their acts,

Frustrations grow, with no mercy in their tracks.

Collective punishment, forcefully inflicted,

misplaced children in hospitals restricted, burned and wounded, unaware of the facts, parents escaped, in deaths impact.

In agonising pain, their cries pierce the night.

“What have we done, born into this plight? Punishment within, an endless fight.”

Leaders, where is your mercy?

No food, no water here to find,

Medical supplies so hard to bind,

A “dignity kit” created ,for women’s sake, In squalid conditions, they suffer and ache.

Pregnant mothers, filled with fear,

“Will I survive?

Will my baby be near?

What will become of my other kin?”

Two lives lost, tragically.

The unborn Palestinian, their plight untold,

Taken too soon, their story unfolds.

Fearlessly slain, their rights denied,

A heart-wrenching truth, with no human rights.

Listen world, there is no mercy.

Demolished homes, left in shambles,

Forced to flee, seeking refuge as life unravels.

In tents they hide, amidst fears and despair, under the moon’s watchful glare.

With no shelter, nowhere to reside,

Raindrops fall, as tears from the sky.

No mercy, as you can see. Palestinian blood is spilled mercilessly.
